What is Barn Hunt?

 Barn Hunt is a scent-based game of hide and seek to enjoy with your dog. Rats, safely secured in PVC tubes, are hidden amongst hay bales and the dog must find them within an allotted amount of time. Depending on the class level, other elements such as a tunnel and climb, may be required. There are sanctioned competitions (trials) that you can participate in, or you can use it as a fun enrichment activity to help build confidence and strengthen your bond with your dog. All breeds and ages can participate. Dogs must be 6 months old or older to compete.
