Alexis Hitchner

Hi, I’m Alexis and this is Fenrir (GSD) and Bass (Golden Retriever). I have worked with animals for years. I've been a vet tech for over 5 years and am working on becoming a certified dog trainer, and do a lot of pet sitting/ dog walking. I started my sporting journey with Fenrir in 2024 when she was a puppy. I was always so inspired by the bond created between dogs and their people and sports help strengthen that bond. We do all sorts of sports like Barn Hunt, Dock Diving, IGP, Scent work (AKC and NACSW), etc. Bass will hopefully start competing soon as well. I’m also an AKC CGC/ Trick dog evaluator and ATT/ Fetch dog Judge. I love teaching people how to better understand their dogs and how to build their bond through tricks and training.

I also spend a lot of time fostering different animals like bottle baby kittens or dogs with special needs.

When we’re not trialing or training you can find my dogs and I hiking in the creek or finding new places to explore. We also enjoy curling up on the couch while I read and they nap.

Recently I’ve started helping Stonehedge with merchandise. I 3D print rosette/ribbon displays and dog poop bag holders the shape of Barn Hunt Rat Tubes.
